Lumera Protocol is partnering with Lagrange, the team behind DeepProve and the ZK Prover Network, to bring permanent, provable storage to verifiable AI. The integration pairs Lagrange’s DeepProvewith Cascade, Lumera’s decentralized storage layer, so that a proof generated today stays verifiable for years to come.

Both teams are excited about what this unlocks. Lagrange has built some of the fastest zkML infrastructure in the industry, and pairing it with permanent, provable storage extends what verifiable AI can do for the wider ecosystem.

What Lagrange Built

Lagrange built DeepProve, an open source zkML system that generates cryptographic proof that an AI model produced a specific output, and that the model used was the one it claimed to be. It’s fast: proof generation runs up to 1000 times quicker than prior zkML approaches, with verification 671 times faster

Behind DeepProve sits the ZK Prover Network, the proving infrastructure that does the heavy computation. More than 100 institutional operators run on it, including Coinbase,, OKX, and Nethermind, secured through EigenLayer restaking. A double auction marketplace matches proving jobs to available provers in real time.

Lagrange states DeepProve’s thesis plainly: you cannot trust what you cannot verify. That principle is the foundation this partnership is built on.

What We’re Adding

Cascade is Lumera’s decentralized storage layer. Data is content addressed, paid for once at the time of writing with no renewal fees, and retrieval is free. The durability claim isn’t just marketing: every epoch, the SuperNode holding a given piece of data has to prove on chain that it still holds that exact object, or it gets slashed. That’s a provable guarantee of possession, the same standard of proof Lagrange already brings to AI verification itself.

The integration starts with the verifier keys and model commitments that make a proof checkable in the first place, then extends to the completed proofs themselves, all stored permanently on Cascade.
